Children
One
stillborn, then two
healthy births

The
tragic stillbirth of this woman's first child was soon followed by two healthy
childbirths.
he first, stillborn pregnancy was medically attributed to a
late-term malfunction of the placenta.
Her live children were quite sickly in infancy (in and out of
hospitals) and weak in their pre-school years (often sick with colds).
However both kids recovered full vitality during school age.
Toward middle school they began to be interested in sports, and one became a
competitive athlete.
Both live kids graduated from college, married, and matured into
working professionals with families of their own.
(Also, the female native's own parivartamsha
yoga of L-2 + L-3 has generated substantial material wealth over time.)

The good and bad of L-5 Kuja |

contains Shani with no benefic aspect and L-5 Mangala is damaged in numerous

Saptamsha;
Kuja also occupies
the saptamsha lagna (positive)
- Kuja
= yuti maraka L-2 Surya in radix, navamsha, saptamsha AND trimshamsha
- Mangala the lord of D-7 = in D-1,
yuti Guru + Chandra (positive)
- Kuja also has the
lowest degree of the 4 Kanya Graha. Therefore Kanya does the
bidding of Surya, Chandra, and Guru.

Shani is clearly a trouble-maker for children. But look
how strong is lagnesha Moon in shad-bala.
This woman wants to be a Mother! She
will find a way to have children.
That way will be partly faith (Guru) and
partly endurance (Shani).
First
child stillborn:
- First pregnancy
occurs in the typical period of Guru/Guru, normally a very auspicious time to
begin building a family
- L-9
Guru is strong to give fertility; but as L-6 Guru gives imbalance, illness,
and dissolution of agreements, particularly disregard of advice. the native reportedly did not follow medical advice regarding her pre-natal diet (Kanya).
-
Saptamsha D-7
= Shani's
influence provided a harsh separation by death, and considerable fear
and worry regarding children throughout
Guru
Mahadasha
- Due to Guru's
power to evoke Shaniin matters of children, makara Shani's location
in putra bhava becomes exceptionally inauspicious
- Guru/Guru
period, where Guru gives the Saptamsha effect of Shani,
generated the tragic stillbirth of a long hoped-for first child
- current transit
of at time of stillbirth:
Rahu/Ketu
in Makara/Karka; gochara L-6 Guru in Karka; gochara Shani in
6th house, Dhanus
- Both
Guru(children) andKetu (detachment) crossing mother's radix lagna; the
medical issue was detached placenta
- From Ari bhava,
gochara Shani casts drishti upon L-9 Guru+ L-5 Kuja+ L-2 Surya, and L-1
Chandra
- Thus L-7 Shani
casts drishti upon the three central child factors+ L-1+ L-5+ L-9 - and
exacerbates the separative death function of L-2
- Gochara Shani
empowered by Guru, creates maternal health problem which causes stillbirth.
Sadly, placental failure caused
the baby to die in utero within a week of expected delivery.
Second child, healthy birth:
- Guru/Shani period.
- Shani becomes
extremely strong for good and ill during his bhukti as gochara Shani moves
into swakshetra Makara
- gochara Rahu-Ketu, gochara Guru, and gochara Shanihad all advanced into
the next rashi
- 2nd child is
represented by house-7 which is owned and aspected by Shani while also
receiving the benefic aspect of Guru. A house is strengthened by aspect
from its lord. Kalatra bhava is a strong house.
- L-9 Guru continues to
fertilize during his 16-yr mahadasha.
- Rahu/Ketu
in Sagittarius/Gemini
- gochara Shani in
Makara = Capricorn- from the 7th house transiting Shani aspects house-9, the
mother's lagna, and house-4.
The
7th house is still a death house,
but Shani in his own sign is calmly realistic, skillful, and cautious. The
second pregnancy was inordinately stressful, with numerous medical
interventions and cautious pessimism regarding outcome.
Birth was difficult but the mother and her physicians were tremendously careful
And Shani rewarded their caution. The
placenta had deteriorated early giving rise to negative expectations.
However with excellent supporting care, the fragile second child was
healthy.

Third child, healthy birth:
- Guru/Budha period has arrived.
- Budha gives
saptamsha effect of radix L-1 Moon who is yuti L-5 Kuja and L-5 Guru
-
3rd child is
represented by house-9which is owned and aspected by auspicious Guru.
- Dharma bhava
receives additional child-positive aspects from L-5 Kuja and L-1 Moon.
- Hostile
aspect from L-2 Surya.
- A house is strengthened by aspect from its lord.
This is a strong house made double-strong during the mahadasha of its lord
Guru.
- The mahadasha of
L-9 Guru obtains for 16 years and during this entire era she is fertile
-
gochara
Rahu-Ketu, gochara Guru, and gochara Shanihad all shifted - again- into
the next rashi
- Rahu-Ketu
Rahu-Ketu
in Scorpio/Taurus - A very dicey axis too considering
VargottamshaVrischika Shani and Vrischika lagna in saptamsha
- gochara Guru
"return" in
Virgo - strengthens Guru
- It is very
favorablethat Guru, the empowered mahadasha-pati, should transit into
Mercury's house during the Guru/Budha period
- extra benefits from
the fact that in Kanya, gochara Guru will expand L-5 Mars and maternal-Chandra
- gochara Shani in
Kumbha = Aquarius- still a dangerous place, because from the 8th house
Shani casts drishti to houses 10, 2, and 5. However, Shani in his own house is
detached and cautious; and He does not from Kumbha cast drishti upon house-9
representing child-3.
The third birth was
again difficult and the child was exceptionally fragile. Yet again all
concerned were tremendously careful And - a keynote of Aquarius,
emotionally detached from a very uncertain outcome.
Again, Shani
rewarded their scientific awareness. The placenta deteriorated once
again, showing the terrible impact of Shani in Scorpio - the sign of sexual
reproduction - in the mother's 5th house.
However with excellent supporting care including extended
hospitalization, the fragile third child was healthy.
These children have had some health concerns. However they receive excellent care from parents, teachers, and physicians
- especially their devoted mother. They have enjoyed a pleasant, normal
childhood in a loving community.
The auspice of maraka Shani in putra bhava with no benefic aspect is
clearly unfavorable for the first child. In practical terms Shani's
influence on putra bhava including Guru's empowerment of Shani from
Saptamsha, has made raising the two healthy children a careful
affair, full of close attention and worry at times.
Yet yuvati and
dharma bhava which represent the second and third child are strong houses.
Those children survived difficult births under Guru's protection, and they
will no doubt enjoy long and productive lives due to the fundamental
strength of their rashi bhavas as seen through the mother's chart.
Notable obstacles may arise regarding either the mother's
sexual-reproductive system or the children's health, as the mother completes
her Guru
Mahadasha and enters the reign of Shani, when the children enter the
more challenging middle and high-school years.
