Here is an
interesting case of Rahu creating
children during Rahu/Shani period - by dominating virtually every planet
in the chart.
In the domino-process of downward control, the 5th and 9th lords are stimulated,
and Rahu gets what Rahu's lord Kuja wants!
As indicated by L-9 Budha rising in
conformist Makara, native was raised with conservative religious values which emphasized
motherhood as a woman's primary social role.
This young woman and her entire community expected a family during Rahu/Guru,
but all were saddened by Guru's L6-in-8th effect: her husband was medically
adjudged to be sterile.
L-4 Kuja wants a family, and L-11 wants goals in general.
This young mother believed adoption to be her only chance for motherhood and
meaningful identity. She endured an emotional roller-coaster private
adoption full of misunderstandings, large hidden expenses, cancellation of
agreements, separations, and delays. After tremendous struggle she
obtained a beloved infant daughter.
Rahu/Shani made her exhausted, but she was deeply engaged in mothering
and looking forward to dedicating her life to her tiny new child.
But remember this is Rahu. She became "impossibly" pregnant within days of
the final adoption, and ended up severely overwhelmed with two children and very
little support.
The entire Rahu mahadasha was extremely difficult although she certainly
achieved her main goals!

These two children
have been a major challenge to raise. Rahu & Kuja went to great lengths to
achieve their goals but Shani applied some heavy karma too. Noting the
harsh aspects to putra bhava (child-1) while the lord of 7 (child-2) occupies
the 8th house, it should be no surprise that both of these kids have behavior
problems.
However their mom is a
woman of strong faith. She has emphasized conservative religious values in
their upbringing, and they know the rules even if they don't always follow them.
They are both now grown.
In L-12 Guru's mahadasha
this nurturing woman has offered sanctuary to many foster
children, always struggling to meet expenses and juggle competing needs - while expressing the continuing blessings of a rising 9th lord.
