Elderly Father dies of Natural Causes

He was 38 years old, when his beloved 78-year-old father died.

(L-5 Budha which creates the first child, is also L-7 from Surya.)

  • L-8+L-11 Guru is L-9+L-12 from Chandra.
  • Guru is lord of L-2 Budha.
  • Budha is a temporal maraka for Vrishabha rising
  • Guru is also lord of Surya, significator of the native 's father. Mother died in an automobile crash when the father was driving.
  • Guru is yuti L-7 Kuja a natural and temporal maraka; Kuja holds the higher degree of Kumbha, so Guru does Kuja's job.
  • Unfortunately, timing of death of mother is inconclusive

Contributing factors:

Native faithfully cared for his father in the weakening years of old age, and assisted the father's hospice care near the end of incarnation.Native also served as executor of the parent's estate, and officiated at the father's funeral ceremony. (See highly dignified Saturn in the 9th house, providing lifelong responsibility to and respect for the elderly.)

  • At the time of father's death, gochara Rahu-Ketu were inhabiting native's 8/2 axis - involving the native in matters of death (house-2) and the affairs of the dead (house-8) management of estates, etc.

Here we see some confirmation ofGuru's role in the death of mother, as Guru in D-12 occupies 2nd-from-Chandra.

Also limited confirmation of Budha's role in father's death: Budha occupies 7th dwadashamsha.
