Two-female relationship, initiated 1986.

This professional educator couple have been  happily married for more than twenty years

They raised a child into adulthood, and are waiting hopefully for a grandchild. They are well-integrated into multiple interlocking communities.

During their relationship they have experienced financial prosperity and professional success. In addition they have earned the gratitude of their extended families for their stability, & willingness to care for others, including elderly parents.

They have a wide circle of friends, good relationships with in-laws on both sides, and they travel extensively.  Overall they report the relationship as highly satisfactory.

A major depth and longevity factor in this relationship is the immensely supportive yoga of senior-partner's Sun and junior-partner's Moon:

  • partner-2's Vrischikha Surya yuti partner-1's Vrischikha Chandra

Traditionally this single yoga is considered to be sufficient to stabilize even difficult partnerships.  This yoga creates a core relationship dynamic which is ideal for marriage.

The more "public" or "senior" partner who has the greater social confidence provides a the couple with social legitimacy, while the more "private" or "junior" partner who offers the greater emotional sophistication nourishes the internal, psychic communion in the relationship.

Over time, the more private partner grows toward strong public expression, while the more public partner develops emotional responsiveness and reflective depth.

In this partnership, the Sun-Moon yoga is profoundly strengthened by the

  • Vrischika Kuja yuti the Sun/Moon for both individuals,

  • Sun/Moon are also yuti Rahu-Ketu in both D-1's.

Rahu-Ketu involvement indicates that this deeply connective & supportive partnership should have an exotic or taboo quality; their same-sex union satisfies the nodal rule.

This protective, sheltering Sun-Moon yoga is so beneficial that the partnership will very likely survive all other pressures.

Partner-1: Union entered in Shukra/Shani period, where both Shukra & Shani are natural marriage-makers

  • Rahu/Ketu gochara Aries/Libra, the D-9 lagna

Partner-2: Union entered in Shani/Shukra period

  • Shukra = navamsha L-7 (and Karaka)

  • Rahu/Ketu gochara Aries/Libra, the D-9 lagna

Prognosis:

Due to the excellent Sun-Moon yoga this partnership has an excellent long-term projection.

When either partner

  • enters a period of Kuja or Rahu-Ketu

and

  • during movement of gochara Kuja, gochara Shani, or gochara Rahu-Ketu across the Vrischika/Vrishabha lagna

there will be significant growth, struggle and change in this partnership.  Although the couple can be expected to weather all storms, gochara malefics crossing the sensitive axis at the core of their partnership is a major indicator of timing of the storms.

Psycho-emotional matches.  This is a non-traditional relationship.  The psycho-emotional matching shows that this couple is not "out" in most public venues where male-female compatibility would strike a different "public/private" balance.  This is a creative bond & a lasting bond. Their strength is interpersonal support.

  • partner-2 radix Moon axis matches partner-1 navamsha Moon [Simha/Kumbha]

  • partner-1 radix Moon axis matches partner-2 radix nodal axis [Vrishabha/Vrischika]

  • partner-1 navamsha nodal axis matches partner-2 navamsha nodal axis [Karka/Makara] - interpersonal support

  • partner-1 navamsha lagna matches partner-2 navamsha lagna [Mesha/Tula] - interpersonal support

The "cornerstone test from Light on Relationships gives this relationship moderately good long-term compatibility.

This sensible, mature couple have strengthened their relationship with counseling, which has helped to bridge the minor gaps in mutual understanding created by the awkward 6/8 Venus angles below.  Otherwise they're in very good shape.

  • Sun - partner-1 = Capricorn

  • Sun - partner-2 = Scorpio

This  3/11 angle  is inherently friendly.  Typically the 3/11 angle in couples gives good communication skills.  3/11 is about getting along in large & small groups.  It's not about deep thinking, but rather daily chat.

  • Moon - partner-1  = Scorpio

  • Moon - partner-2  = Aquarius.

This 4/10 angle  is good as long as the mature couple can decide whose needs are met in public and whose in private; who gets more attention in public, who in private, etc.

  • Lagna - partner-1  = Sagittarius

  • Lagna - partner-2 =Virgo

4/10  angle, here is also good for division of labor, having a more public person and a more private person within the partnership.

  • Venus - partner-1  = Pisces

  • Venus - partner-2 = Libra

Mutual Venus positions suffer from a 6/8 angle.  There will incompatibility of aesthetic tastes, interior decor in the home, relationship to mothers & other females, & love styles.  However it is less severe because Venus is strong in Libra & super-strong in Pisces.  So, the love natures might be different but they are both well developed.  Each person knows what she likes & should, with good communication skills, be able to manifest abundant pleasure.

May all beings venerate life as a state of deep spiritual intimacy.
