timing. In general, Franklin Delano Roosevelt's
career did benefit from catastrophic events such as
the USA Great Depression and World War 2. The VPR
also allowed him to avoid the public disgrace of
divorce (6) which could easily have destroyed his
career. -
However he was afflicted by many negative
effects of "secrecy" ranging from the
extreme psychological stress of secret negotiations
in the WW-II years to the personal agony of
perpetually needing to hide his extramarital loves

of being happily married to a woman he admired only

most of his presidential years.
Even the conditions of death (8), at a private camp
in Georgia far from Washington D.C., were upsetting
and shocking. He died, aged 63, a physically (Mesha)
broken man in the company of his extramarital lover
(his most intense love relationship amongst several,
whom he had promised his wife never to see again)
which revelation shocked and angered his wife.

Because FDR's profound illness had been
skillfully covered up (8) by his public relations
handlers, Roosevelt's death was met with utter shock
and grief across the U.S. and around the world. His
death on 12-April-1945, immediately followed by
Hitler's suicide on 30-April-1945, threw much of the
world into a state of terror (8) although the
successful V-E Day on 8-May-1945 showed proof of
regeneration and rebirth.
 Attitude toward Marriage
When the lord
of D-9 lagna, significator of the native's own behavior in marriage,
occupies a dushthamsha (6, 8, 12),
there are negative implications for marriage.
