nativity = problematic.
The
karakamsha becomes bhava-6, which is an abnormal signification for a
world figure. Karakamsha should reasonably = a kendra, and for a national
leader that would normally be kendra-1, kendra-4, or kendra-10.

The
reported
time of 23:36 is problematic in other ways too.

It yields an Azlesa
Chandra with Magha radix lagna, with a badly handicapped Shani in the
Simha lagna.

While the karakamsha would become 5 for politics and regal
behavior (Mr. Nehru was known for his sense of elite entitlement) the
navamsha results are unproductive. In addition, Surya goes to zero degrees
of Vrischika - strong enough via rashi, but exceptionally weak at the zero
degree.
To achieve the
above nativity, which is very tentative, the BT is set at 23:28, a full
eight minutes earlier than stated.
There is sometimes a custom amongst Bharati families of misreporting the child's actual
birth time in order to protect against bad fortune. Perhaps that
superstitious practice was applied to Mr. Nehru's reported birth time?
