From 1908 until 1914, young Adolf lived as a working artist "Bohemian" in Vienna. He was supported by orphan's pension, his mother (until her death) and his art earnings. Famously, his two applications to the Academy of Arts in Vienna were rejected for "lack of talent" during Surya period - yet he never abandoned the artist's profession.

Note uchcha Surya lord of 11th house of gains and income, also Lord of 10th navamsha, indicating a destiny to be a great (if evil) leader.

From an astrological point of view, we can be confident that he had enough money to live on at all times from various sources (including his Jewish housemate who helped him sell postcards and paintings).

Surya Mahadasha is also the period when Hitler discovered organized anti-Semitism and formed his extremist racial and political views.

Uchcha Surya is notorious for extreme selfishness and self-righteousness. It is also the significator of a great politician, rationalist, designer, and military general.

• "You may be wealthy but will be placed very low in life.

• Health will be poor.

• At certain times you become violent and wicked."

However, Hitler's violently intolerant politics emerge more from Surya being imprisoned within the miserable mutual aspect of Kuja and Shani.

Normally with Surya being dominated in degree by Shukra, Hitler would have been an architect! Probably a very political architect, or an artist employed by the army or police, or some other artist's social role within a political hierarchy.

However, he is not permitted to express himself with social naturalness, as an artist, due to the massive oppression of the Shani-Kuja mutual aspect. There is tremendous internal anxiety and frustration. His intelligence is thwarted and twisted.

The nature of the twisting was earlier apparent in the behavior of his father, where Surya is karaka for father. As his father enacted rage by brutally beating his helpless wife and children, so Adolf Hitler would be karmicly bound to enact his pent-up rage and frustrations - ironically through a form of artistic genius - to violently "redesign" society.

Guru's relationship with radix Chandra is strong, and characterized by Guru's L-6 quality of vindictive blaming.

Chandra occupies house-3 of communications and teamwork, where He is dominated by L-3+L-6 Guru who rules courage and enemies.

Chandra period sees Hitler fully invested in Scapegoating: blaming minorities for the ills of the group.

L-3+L-6 Guru is an inauspicious graha for Thula lagna .

• Hitler has Thularising in D-1, D-9, and D-10.

• Guru evokes animosity and conflict (6) and inflames the hateful speech and writing (3) in all areas of the tyrant's life: social/material (D-1); spiritual/emotional (D-9); and career+Leadership (D-10).

Guru in turn is dominated by ethically-detached Ketu, destroyer of Obstacles. But Ketu can't really dominate anything because He is too detached.

Guru-Ketu operate as an equal pair, enemy-hating and self-preserving, creating a textbook case of ideological obsession with "reckless disregard for consequences".

• Chandra/Chandra. Big change. Although he had scrupulously avoided the Austrian draft during Surya Mahadasha , Hitler responded to the outbreak of WWI by joining the Bavarian Army in August 1941.

• Chandra/Shani - first affiliation with German Workers Party (Nazi) in Munich. (he is sent in by the Reichswehr to spy on them). Shani is the Yogakaraka4/5 lord, a very potent planet for Libra rising and occupying house-10 for career, leadership. Shani rises again in lagna as Yogakarakain dashamsha. Shani bhukti is a key first step toward his eventual dictatorship.

• Chandra/Budha - Hitler becomes increasingly good at speaking to large crowds. Feb. 1921, speaks before 6000 in Munich. Consistent with Sahaja_bhava.htm" class="auto-style3">3rd-house talents of Chandra/Guru/Ketu, Hitler orchestrated a major advertising campaign before the speech sending out truckloads of workers to distribute "branded" brochures showing swastikas - the first appearance of that Nazi symbol.

• Chandra/Ketu - 29-July-1921 - Hitler takes over the Nazi party and is called "Fuehrer" (leader). Now Ketu's power to co-create with Guru the ideological obsession with no ethical constraints, becomes very strong.

Through Chandra, Guru and Ketu-Rahu enormously expand Hitler's range of influence. Guru occupies an orb of less than two degrees above the Moon, so the Moon will enact Guru's agenda. Ultimately, Guru will carry out the will of Ketu.

During Hitler's Chandra Mahadasha , Guru/Ketu by casting the 5th drishti upon yuvati bhava will hugely expand the extremist scapegoating politics of Hitler's warlike 7th house.

However the final bhukti involves his troublesome uchcha Surya, which being dominated by L-8 Shukra who is a powerful planetary enemy, does not allow him to gain the support of large associations and take leadership as L-11 Surya truly wants to do. Instead he fails to get recognition, similar to Surya Mahadasha .

• Chandra/Surya is the "Beerhall Putsch" 8-Nov-1923 - Hitler's failed attempt to take over Bavaria. Hitler fled and considered suicide, at this inauspicious end to his 10-year rule of the 10th-house lord. It must have seemed to him that his life was finished.

Kuja is oppressed by L-8 Shukra, a destructive planet.

His failed coup in Chandra/Surya had virtually destroyed the Nazi party. Hitler was still Fuhrer - but Fuhrer of nothing.

Hitler spent most of Kuja's 7-year mahadasha trying to build partnerships (Kuja = L-7) =  trying to rebuild the party. Only his final bhukti of L-10 Chandra, helped by Soma in a fortunate 5/9 angle from Kuja, which sparked massive party growth due to the Depression, gave Hitler access to leadership again.

• Kuja/Kuja - April 1924, Hitler's treason trial becomes a vehicle for his national popularity, as he vehemently expresses nationalistic visions already stirring amongst the disenfranchised masses. He has good publicity for his platform, but is sentenced to 5-yrs prison.

• Kuja/Rahu - the aggressively nationalistic and hugely popular My Struggle (Mein Kampf) is dictated in prison - 1st volume entitled Payback (Abrechnung) which become the most popular books in all Germany. Kuja-to-Rahu is a 3/11 angle in radix, very productive and communicative in public relations, propaganda, advertising etc. Rahu is a VERY powerful planet in dashamsha because in D-10 he magnifies his ruler, the exalted rising Shani. For good or ill Hitler's D-10 Rahu creates a very great leader. His prison sentence is ended after 7 months. Rahu in 9th house makes Hitler a priest of the nationalistic cult, and Mein Kampf becomes his cult scripture.

• Kuja/Chandra - sudden rise of Nazi power in Depression elections

for anyone, Rahu Mahadasha =  a "Great Leap Forward" power-gaining roller-coaster period .

How much more intensely for a power-crazed world dictator. Rahu's extreme desires hyper-amplify Rahu's lord Budha, providing extraordinary empowerment via speeches and writings.

Typically, periods of Rahu = charismatically powerful in the beginning but pathetically over-extended in the end.

Hitler's career was no exception.

• Adolf Hitler was born into a poor, inbred and highly dysfunctional family which suffered terrible internal violence from a deranged, aggressive, alcoholic father.

• Rahu/Ketu - The Moon's Nodes, Rahu-Ketu, can be truly insane: reckless, obsessive and excessive. Hitler declared war against three gigantic opponents: US, which was allied with Britain and Russia. Yet the dashamsha power of Hitler's Rahu-Shani yoga is so strong that his bravado continued to win.

• Rahu/Shukra - Only the bhukti of L-8 Shukra beginning in mid-Sep-1942 could destroy this raging maniac and the murderers who shared his Nazi vision. Shukra is L-8 destroyer in radix, navamsha, and dashamsha - but most importantly, Shukra occupies 12th from Rahu in dashamsha. Bhukti of any graha which resides in 12th-from-Rahu always gives major losses which destroy Rahu's gains. Oct-1942 saw the first serious Nazi defeat in Africa, followed quickly by defeats in Stalingrad , Mussolini's overthrow in Italy, D-Day and a string of unbearable humiliations...

• Rahu/Shukra, As Shukra bhukti draws to a close, Shukra = karaka for marriage and lord of navamsha, and whilst gochara Rahu-Ketu have traveled to their natal positions. Hitler married Eva Braun. 29-April-1945, civil ceremony in their underground bunker.

• Rahu/Shukra - The next day, 30-April-1945, historians generally agree that Hitler and Braun committed joint suicide. Shukra occupies 24:4 of Mesha while Mangala sits at 24:4 Mesha, both in the house of death and war.

Shukra = 24:4 of Mesha = identical to Mangala. = 24:4 Mesha.

• Shukra = L-8, which gives only the conditions of death. Death itself is given by the extremely virulent L2+L7 Kuja.

• Activated Kuja being very strong in 2nd navamsha, also gives the death of the wife in their joint suicide.

• Hitler shot himself through the mouth and Eva Braun took poison (Vrischika = poisons, conditions of death of wife = L-8 from 7th). On their orders, the corpses were soaked with gasoline and torched = Mesha.
