Krishnamurti's
speech
disbanding the Order of the Star which had been created to support
him as Theosophical World Teacher,
(Ommen, Holland, August 2, 1929)
|
"I maintain that truth is a pathless land,
That is my point of view,
and I adhere to that absolutely and unconditionally.
Truth, being limitless,
unconditioned, unapproachable by any path whatsoever, cannot be
organized;
|
|
|
"You
may remember the story of how the devil
and a friend of his were walking down the street,
when they saw ahead of
them a man stoop down and pick up something from the ground, look at it, and
put it away in his pocket.
The friend said to the devil, "What did that
man pick up?"
"He
picked up a piece of the truth," said the
devil.
"That is a very bad business for you, then," said his
friend.
"Oh, not at all," the devil replied, "I am going to
help him organize it."

"Beauty is complete order. But most of us have not that sense of beauty in our
lives. We may be great artists, great painters, expert in
various things, but in our own daily life, with all the anxieties
and miseries, we live, unfortunately, a very disordered life. It is a fact. You may a great scientist, you may be a great
expert in a subject, but you have your own problems, struggles,
pain, anxieties and the rest of it. We are asking, is it
possible to live in complete order within, not impose discipline,
control, but to inquire into the nature of this disorder, what are
the causes, and to dispel, move away, wash away the cause.
Then there is a living order in the universe. "

|
|
"Pain itself destroys pain. Suffering itself
frees man from suffering."

Distinctive Features of the
Nativity |
|
|
Ketu in bhava 8 =
Rahu in bhava 2 |
- Ambivalence (Ketu) toward occult knowledge and
hidden resources yet unrestricted access to those mysteries
- Desire (Rahu) to be recognized as a holder
of treasuries of wealth or knowledge
|
|
Rahu in bhava-2
Rahu in Kumbha rashi = generally auspicious because
Rahu the Risk-taker is co-ruler of Kumbha |
-
= self-elevation from the original social station at birth via
the power of voice, face, speech, treasuries of collected knowledge and
stored wealth, ability to utilize and project precious lineage
values.
-
During Rahu periods, Rahu in 2 typically takes a great leap
upward into a higher station of acquired or re-acquired (remembered)
treasures of knowledge and wealth.
-
- One attempts to rejoin an ancient knowledge lineage from
which one was earlier ejected.
- There is also usually something exotic
or inappropriate in
the family history(perhaps an illegitimate birth, perhaps several
generations back) which alters the conventional flow of lineage
knowledge, providing both opportunity for advancement and disruption
of secure transmission in the genetic line.
|
|
Auspicious "mark of success" = mutual drishti Rahu-Guru
|
Rahu = voice, speech, face, hair, knowledge = drishti to Guru +
Shukra + Mangala +Ketu + Shani |
|
Viparita
Raja Yoga : Harsha = L-12 in bhava-6 |
When L-12 goes into the house of argumentation, conflict, victims and the
underclass, then one loses one's ability to negotiate conflicts. There
may follow some desperate actions which are perceived to be
"options of last resort" in order to "solve the
problem" of the impending loss of personal identity, caused (it is
perceived) by enemies, by disease, or by debt.
Thus the opportunity for unintended criminal
consequences of rather confused (12) actions, those actions being
ultimately manipulated by the spirits on the astral plane (mainly
ancestor spirits) who speak in the dream voice.
If L-12 is an aggressive graha, the result could
be violent. But generally the result is somewhat
diffused. E.g.,
-
for
Richard Nixon+ L-12 in
6 = Chandra. Nixon had lifelong emotional problems with suspiciousness and
feeling victimized, which got the better of him during the Watergate
break-in. -
For
Krishnamurti+ L-12 in 6 = Guru. Krishnamurti distrusted (6) religious
organizations (Guru), and he fended off the threat of being dissolved
into their agenda by breaking his
promise to lead the group with any status other than "simple
human".
|
|
6th-from-Rahu + 12th-from-Ketu =
yuvati
bhava |
-
lord of 6th-from-Rahu-in-2 =
Mula Chandra in 12 = 6th-from-7th. No graha in
bhava-7. -
L-6 in 6th-from-6th
generally cancels the worst effects of the
maha-dushtamsha. Mula Chandra in particular is
nonchalant about human relationships, being rather
more concerned with matters of the galactic sun from
which they came and to which they shall soon return. -
Krishnamurti never married,
so he never needed to prevent, control, or negotiate
the sharing of his personal wealth (Rahu-2). -
L-7 Chandra in 12 accepting
drishti from Chandra's lord permissive Guru in
Mithuna (sexuality) with Shukra-Mithuna suggests a
series of private, bedroom-based relationships that
carried no public-status connotations. Whatever
consorts he had, they valued their privacy as much
as he did. -
It could be said that
Krishnamurti broke a few contracts (7), especially
the purported agreements that were made on his
behalf to promote him as a world teacher of colossal
proportions. He didn't follow through on any of
those grandiose promises; but those deals were made
for him when he was young, and as soon as he was old
enough to understand what was expected of him, he
quashed the whole charade. -
Overall, despite yuvati
bhava's inauspicious relationship to the Nodes,
Krishnamurti's marriage situation is neutral and
non-problematic, due to L-7 Chandra carrying most of
the alliance energy into the
dissolving vyaya bhava,
from whence it stays behind closed doors.

Shukra Mahadasha
age 5-25
|
Dec- 1910, "At the Feet of the Master," written when
Krishnamurti was only 16 and promoted as his own work. As commentators have
noted, a sixteen year old not well accustomed to using English could hardly
have produced such a masterpiece of succinct wisdom and mature advice.
Clearly it was written by an adult with a goal in mind. Nevertheless it sold
fabulously under his name, and the book was considered a cornerstone
scripture of the Theosophical movement.
Jan-1911, Teenage Krishnamurti, till now protected by his family
and his handlers, is appointed leader of the Order of the Star in the East
by the institutional leadership, Annie Besant. His English management team
tried to get him into both Oxford and London universities but failed;
Krishnamurti was too young, too poorly prepared, and his managers were
viewed as hoaxy frauds in many circles. Still there was a movement to be
developed and money to be made. There were many believers and many large
donations. Private tutors were hired and life went on.
Krishnamurti's life companion was his beloved brother "Nityananda" who
traveled the world with him, sustaining some semblance of normalcy in their
very peculiar world. When Nitya contracted tuberculosis, they moved to Ojai
California seeking hot dry air for a cure.
Aug 1922 - Kundalini awakening announced.
Nov 1925 - brother Nitya dies of TB.

Surya Mahadasha
age 25-31
|
Aug 1929, Abdication speech ="truth is a
pathless land " : Rejecting occult study, authority figures,
and ceremonial religion as paths to truth.
His primary western handler Ms. Annie Besant had
gone senile and she did not recognize that Krishnamurti had effectively ended
the organization as she had designed it.
Surya-Mesha-4 is a highly auspicious placement. One may "work" if one
chooses, entirely at the pleasure of the native , and entirely for "noble
enterprise".
For the next nearly 60 years he travelled on a 3-country pattern between
India, UK, and USA; gave lectures; tended his vegetable garden; and relaxed
with friends, funded by a remarkably wealthy organization which continued to
hold him up as a World Teacher -- despite his vigorously denouncing this
role . He certainly never had to work in the conventional sense of the term.
