If a malefic, L-5 in 2nd-from-swakshetra = karaka for the death of children, particularly the first child. May choose social work or medical service serving child-victims, particularly those who were harmed by their own families.  

Service specialties which address the speech, values, or family traditions of children include child-psychology, speech pathology, & legal child advocacy, according to the dignity of the malefic graha.

Whether malefic or benefic, wealth can be accumulated through children, and through creative activities in literature, performance art, speculation, entertainment and politics. 

If benefic, likes to make "Political speeches" which are charming but full of lies. Theatrical talents put to exploitative use. May be a charlatan who advocates wealth-building but steals the investment money. 

Pyramid schemes, political promises, chain letters, multi-level-marketing, other glamorization or rationalization for exploitation of those below. The excessively sunny viewpoint of a benefic bhagya lord when imposed upon the dark environment of Domain-6, results in severe "cognitive dissonance".  Native's sincere inability to accept responsibility & deep psychological denial can mask some serious exploitation.

If L-5 is dignified, can give a good career in health education (especially for children), professional conflict resolution, 

L-6 in domain-6

Native is karmically bound to experience a great deal of conflict. 

If malefic he is a realist with a pragmatic acceptance of the dark side of human nature. Realism allows him to skillfully negotiate the terrain of ignorance & conflict, even while being bound into it.  If a highly dignified malefic, may support advanced professional conflict skills in law & medicine.

L-7 in domain-6

Realism and secret knowledge brings them success through negative dealings.

If benefic, victim of exhausting struggles resulting from Deep Denial.  Undiagnosed disease & misplaced confidence. Financial illness, medical illness, social illness - all present in this native's life, yet he rejects the reality of evil. Wants a miracle cure, but does not see his own negativity operating in the disease process.

With L9 in toxic domain-6 he has no trust in priests and returns compulsively to the realities of exploitation and victimization.  A child raised without viable faith who seeks adult religious conversion. Lifetime struggle with the fact of human evil. May have a tortured career in theology or ethics yet deprived of authentic ritual worship due to inner conflict and mistrust.

L-10 in domain-6

L-10 provides career prestige.

L-10 in domain-6 does not destroy the career, but it may damage or reduce the prestige of the career. The quality of the work is good and morally elevated, due to L-10 in 9th-from-swakshetra.

Yet, due to L-10 acting out the karma of "underclass" domain-6, the native receives less respect than one would normally receive according to the actually high quality output of native's work. 

It is reasonable to assume that in past lives, one inadvertently misused the prestige of a leadership position for self-glorification. The current incarnation is designed to correct that record, by forcing a native of high abilities into work environments that are dominated by persons of inferior qualification, and causing the native to bear excessive expense in order to maintain one's public position, despite receiving much less respect than one is due!

Pure motive, impure actions

The native may also engage in immoral behaviors despite a morally pure professional motive to serve those in need. For example, stealing equipment or supplies to serve impoverished clients, or prescribing addictive drugs in order to 'relieve suffering'. 

The heart-motive is pure with L-10 in domain-6, but if L-10 is very poorly disposed, the professional behaviors may be adjudged to be criminal.

The native with this Jyotisha condition must be vigilant in self-observation, to ensure that one's professional conduct does not become a law unto itself. The reality of L-10 in domain-6 is that despite one's strong professional qualifications and high quality of service, there will be much frustration and conflict in the working environment. 

Inferior Leadership in the Workplace

Frequently the native must work under supervision from those less qualified or capable than oneself. Professional managers and other workplace operatives may have vulgar, socially ignorant, interpersonally disagreeable characteristics. 

It is important for this native to resist the tendency to try to disqualify or over-rule "inferior superiors". Only through the two extremes of deepest humility, plus persistence in service according to one's highest abilities, will this native work through the karma of L-10 in domain-6.

The karma of any graha in domain-6 is quite strong, and L-10 as a kendra lord is that much stronger. L-10 in domain-6 requires a vigilant personal modesty based in deep faith that one's work is a channel for divine energy, and not at all a vehicle for ego expression. 

Job Stress

The case of Franklin D. Roosevelt is instructive. L-10 for FDR is Budha in Kumbha, a karaka rashi for the Common People. FDR's "boss" was, in an important sense, the great complaining mass (Budha/Kumbha) of common humanity. 

His leadership was enormously constrained by the vulgar realities of mass poverty, starvation, war, and ignorance as well as constant petty egoistic in-fighting within his government, which caused him terrible pain. 

Despite miserable working conditions, and physical illness (6) exacerbated by job stress, FDR's professional service legacy is considered by many to mark him as one of the greatest and most noble US Presidents. 

Effect on earnings and debt

L-10 in domain-6 does not directly harm the earnings, but one may acquire substantial debt in the process of gaining professional standing. For example, loans taken to complete the professional education, or the purchase of expensive professional equipment, and other "out of pocket" expenses. 

These costs would normally be absorbed by the employer. But for the native with L-10 in the "loss of agreement" house of debt, professional expenses serve to directly impoverish the native. 

L-10 = Malefic

If a malefic, L-10 in 9th-from-swakshetra gives a career in toxins management. Social toxins, environmental toxins, physical or psychic toxins, emotional toxins: depending on the character of the graha which = L-10, the native may professionally address a variety of imbalances in any level of human experience. 

The native is typically obliged to work with poisonous things, or ignorant or culturally polluted people. 

and one will have effective "negative matching energy" to work effectively in conflicted environments. Malefic graha in a dusthana generally give good results due to pragmatic realism.

L-10 = benefic

If L-10 = benefic, the results are still good, but overcompensation for inner conflict and/or denial of human evil will be a hallmark of career. 

Social advocacy for the disadvantaged or marginalized classes, missionary work, medical chaplaincy, preaching to the poor, and other deep expressions of the social service ethic are common outcomes of this position.

Native may serve the underclass in a morally virtuous career,  but a tendency to be unrealistic either over-sweeten the realities of poverty, ignorance & illness with promises of  salvation, or to over-identify with the victim experience, will shape the career profile. 

Strong attraction toward the "helping professions" and a tendency to lose career dignity by getting sucked into the problems of the those whom one is helping. Good psychic boundaries are essential tools for managing this astrological angle. 

Lack of career dignity, despite good performance

Typically the native experiences a shortfall in professional dignity and social praise for the value of their work. The issue is often one of credentialing, where the native possesses a lesser training or diploma or inferior rank despite performing services at a high level of professional integrity. The concern for the common man, for the poor, and the disempowered, is too strong to allow the native to transform public leadership into an ego-boosting crusade. Thus one's ego suffers, while humanity is sincerely helped.

L-11 in domain-6

If a malefic, L-11 in 8th-from-swakshetra is bad for friendships but good for profit from secret dealings in negative relationships & materials. 

An isolated individual who has trouble making social connections, unless L-11 receives helpful drishti. 

The native is not well-liked. He finds what few friends he can, in the pariah environment of domain-6. Thus he consorts with materialistic, greedy & suspicious types who can hardly repay acts of true friendship. 

If a benefic, tendency to 

L-12 in domain-6

Bodes poorly for meditation and access to sanctuary. Losses through conflict, disease, loss of agreement. 

If a malefic, L-12 in 7th-from-swakshetra is a karaka for a conflicted & possibly criminal imagination. 

Generally, a dusthana lord gives good results when it occupies a dusthana. L-12 causes loss of identity wherever it goes. When L-12 goes into the house of social conflict, victims and the underclass, one loses one's ability to identify with the great mass of common humanity. Thus one personally avoids most types of financial debt and chronic illness, which is the good result. 

However one also loses one's identity with the human realities of social imbalance and moral error. L-12 in domain-6 can create a state of denial or delusion wherein one is unable to 'see oneself' as a normal person who makes mistakes.  Criminal activity (6) is hidden from view (12).
