Effect of radix domain lords in occupation of Domain-7
Of course the easiest situation is to have domain-6 completely unoccupied.
However, malefics give reasonably good results in dusthanas. Highly dignified malefics in dusthanas can give truly excellent results.
Malefics give conflict & difficulty re: health, digestion, conflict, debt, etc, however they also assist problem-solving by providing a pragmatic, realistic approach toward negative aspects of human life.
Benefics in dusthanas give conflict & difficulty re: health, digestion, conflict, debt, etc, along with overcompensation & denial. Typically the native shows an inability to accept or interpret the reality of the problems, and wastes resources through denial.
L-1
Social Identity is deeply invested in the marriage.
L-2
Family interests and concerns are expressed through the marriage.
L-3
Siblings & team-workers express their interest through the marriage. The spouse is administratively competent and inclined toward communicative aspects of business.
L-4
The native's sense of roots & property ownership / stewardship are expressed through the marriage partner. Spouse may be concerned with real estate, land & property management, socializing levels of education, and patriotic protection of the homeland. The spouse has similar behaviors to the parents during childhood, particularly the mother.
L-5
Marriage expresses the character of native's creativity and speculative intelligence. The spouse likes children and is socially identified with them. Spouse may be a performance artist, politician, literati, speculator, or member of royalty. Ceremonial style.
L-6
Conflict and loss of agreement enter into the marriage. Spouse is often ill, either mentally or physically. Spouse brings debt into the marriage. Spouse may be a police officer, social worker, physician, pollution abater, divorce attorney, or other professional dealing with social conflict and bodily imbalance.
L-7
Spouse has a clear self-directed personality. The native may need to accommodate the spouse's will without much negotiation. Spouse may be an athlete, fashion model, dancer, hunter, or one who is strongly identified with their physical body.
L-8
Spouse has many hidden interests, and the in-laws have much control over the destiny of the marriage.
L-9
Very beneficial. Spouse has strong religious or spiritual sensibilities, and brings good fortune into the marriage. The couple enjoy traveling and learning about religious cultures.
L-10
Spouse expresses the native's interest in attaining high levels of public recognition. Marriage is dedicated to leadership & public service. Grounded.
L-11
Spouse is friendly and romantic, although perhaps prone to extramarital affection also. If so, it will benefit the native. Gains in marriage; spouse is active in the marketplace.
L-12
Lord of 8th-from-5th occupying Domain-7 = spouse's trauma of encountering the circumstances of death or forced transformation regarding children or lover. Inhibits fertility within the marriage. Signifies the joint marital experience of losing children to the wings of death, within the current lifetime. Unfortunately this experience tends to provoke additional marriage conflict and infidelities. If L-12 is a benefic and L-5 is reasonably healthy, other children may arrive.
Effects are strongest for the first marriage, but subsequent spouses will also pattern a loss of children and marital disagreement. If the subsequent spouses have themselves been married before, this situation may well have manifested in their earlier marriages and imprinted on their memories, but it does not always have to reprise in later marriages. If the subsequent spouses have not been married before, they may be forced to work out this pattern with the native.
Lord of 6th-from-7th occupying Domain-7 indicates a spousal predilection for extramarital affairs.
If L-12 is a benefic, the spouse may be extremely pleasant to the native all the while maintaining outside liaisons. Domain-12 is also the portion of foreign lands, indicating that the spouse either hails from a culture foreign to the native or prefers to live in settings away from ones own land of birth.
Lord of 6th-from-7th also triggers loss of agreement, interpersonal animosity & financial imbalance between the partners. If L-12 = benefic, the spouse may spend luxuriously; if L-12 = malefic, the spouse may be selfish, miserly or cheap.
In either case, the native's financial style is at odds with the spouse. Spouse will take loans such as mortgages which the native does not agree with. Indeed if L-12 as 6th-from-social- agreement and 12th-from-social-identity can even indicate well-hidden criminal activity of the spouse (much lore likely if L-12 is yuti Rahu-Ketu.)
L-12 is the house of fantasy, dissolution of identity through merging, & private sexual desires. L-12 in domain-7 increases sexuality for both partners. If L-12 = benefic, the spouse can remain sexually engaged with the native despite (& possibly enhanced by) high levels of disagreement. Sexual activity in all of the spouse's liaisons is pronounced.
"We often speak of the external enemy. For example, in my own case, our Chinese brothers and sisters are destroying Tibetan rights and, in that way, more suffering and anxiety develops.
But no matter how forceful this is, it cannot destroy the supreme source of my happiness, which is my calmness of mind. This is something an external enemy cannot destroy. Our country can be invaded, our possessions can be destroyed, our friends can be killed, but these are secondary for our mental happiness.
The ultimate source of my mental happiness is my peace of mind. Nothing can destroy this except my own anger."
