L-9 Guru + L-11 Shani
-
L-9 Guru drishti upon bhava-2 -
-
L-9 Guru = lord of 10th navamsha; L-11 Shani
occupies 10th navamsha
-
Karakamsha = Kanya = bhava-6; Hearst was most famous
for his marital conflict, the scandals and false news stories reported
in his sensationalistic tabloid newspapers, and the crushing
debt which ended
his professional career.
-
Uchchamsha Surya in lagna - a selfish,
super-competitive, confident "glory-hunter" father; parivartamsha +
Mangala shows the mining interests which massive profits propelled his
father's political career.

Ketu in
bhava-2 = Ambivalence (Ketu) toward the
family history , toward
speech and song, toward gathered knowledge and
wealth collections.
-
Rahu in bhava-8
= Ambitious Desire for recognition (Rahu) as a holder of
confidential information, important
figure in times of crisis, knower of occult secrets
(drishti of Shukra makes these secrets largely financial in nature)
|
| |
In Vrishabha, Ketu's detached witness behaviors
acquire Shukra-like sensual pleasure and wealth-attracting
characteristics.
here is considerable luxury in the native 's environment, but one has a curiously detached response to sensual
enjoyment = appreciative but not much acquisitive.
Similar to Ketu in bhava-2, but less specific
detail. Results depend upon how Lord Shukra functions in the overall
nativity.
Naturally Ketu's results are greatly affected by
any graha yuti Ketu; Ketu's bhava' incoming drishti to His absorptive and
apathetic script; and the character of His lord Shukra.
-
Ketu + swakshetra Shukra in bhava-2 = sweet but detached combination will attract a great deal of
material wealth and sensual pleasure into his life, and he will enjoy
it up to a point, but probably feel forever dissatisfied with its
fleeting nature. -
For Hearst another complication is that graha
with Shukra indicate second and subsequent marriages. When the only
graha yuti Shukra becomes Ketu, and this Shukra-Ketu pair in Shukra's
rashi receives no outside-motivation drishti, one may become so
apathetic about the second marriage contract that despite sincere
affection for the second partner, one does not finalize the marriage.
-
Shukra-2 = Hearst loved women
with beautiful face, hair, voice, and mouth; he also enjoyed good food
and drink. His pattern is complicated by the close proximity of
Ketu + swakshetra Shukra in bhava-2.
-
Guru's expansive drishti upon the Ketu-Shukra
pair provides multiple marriage-type relationships. His first union
with a singer-waitress (2) was never officially sanctified, but
it lasted 20 years from his college days until his fortieth birthday.
On his 40th birthday he married a beautiful 'showgirl' who sang and
danced in musical theatre. After producing five sons into the
marriage, Hearst began an extramarital relationship (Rahu-8) with yet
another beautiful 'showgirl' singer which lasted until his death. She
gave private musical performances for Hearst and a small circle of
friends in their elegant shared home which were said to be his main
source of pleasure, especially when his business empire began to
collapse (Ketu).

Important Combinations-- commenting
on Madhya
Vayasi Dhana Yoga
|
"A perusal of astrological literature
bearing up ''Wealth' reveals clearly that in order to become rich,
one should have in his horoscope combinations which comprehend
a point of contact between lords of Lagna, 2nd, 11th, 5th and
9th.
Permutations and combinations of these lords
give rise to a stupendous number of Dhana Yogas"
