radix and navamsha charts for multi-millionaire private investor

dashamsha chart for multi-millionaire private investor, capital built from high salary Corporate Elite Salary, Profitable Investments, & Luxurious Lifestyle

Phaladeepika says of L-10 Surya:

"When this lord of the 10th house occupies the Navamsha of Jupiter, the native finds his living with the help of Brahmins, deities or through state favor, recitation of Puranas, studying Sastras, preaching or giving religious instructions, or lending money."

 - Phaladeepika, Ch. 5, shloka 6

After graduating from college, this middle-class youth entered the world of international finance.

Perfect timing

In the early 1980's, it was a perfect set-up: his powerful Rahu mahadasha started just as the global economic expansion was picking up speed.

Drive and focus

A hard-working, competitive, and anxious combination of Rahu, Kuja, & Shani - plus the enthusiasm of youth - gave him the drive to work 18-hr days.

Private investor Wealth via Salary Vimshottari dashaFor the duration of Rahu mahadasha, this young man took very little "time off". He married, but delayed starting a family so as to focus completely on building wealth.

  • Rahu gives effect of dispositor uccha L-1/L-6 Kuja

  • Kuja enters parivartana yoga with Shani/Rahu in lagna.

  • The native's core identity is powerfully engaged via the interaction of lagnesha Kuja, Shani in lagna, and Rahu in lagna

  • Three powerful malefics - Shani, Kuja, and Rahu - constantly reinforce each other during the Rahu mahadasha (for good and for evil) resulting in a human machine of discipline, energy, and drive

Master of Large-scale Financial Negotiation

This native's working venue is the financial negotiating table, crafting complex economic deals in developing countries

His deals created financing for electrical power plants, roads & bridges, and other major infrastructure development in emerging countries..

The native's aggressive, confident, persistent negotiating style succeeded most of the time. (But some major Shani-timed failures too).

He characterized going to work as "going into the War Room".

  • Anuradha nakshatra, the alliance and treaty-maker, rises in lagna.

  • Lord of Anuradha = Shani

  • uccha Kuja occupies domain-3 = meetings, administration, commerce

  • uccha Kuja in 10th-from-Chandra, gives wealth via Amala Yoga during Kuja periods

  • L-6 Kuja is a warrior

  • Kuja in Thula lagna of dashamsha confirms the aggressive diplomacy which defines his negotiating career

  • Rahu = taboo or foreign territory, those outside one's own community.

Capitalization for Private Investing

The native acquired capital through careful management of the huge bonus payments he received for making successful deals.

  • swakshetra L-7 Shukra for deals, agreements

He chose lifestyle-subsidized ex-patriate positions.

  • swakshetra L-12 Shukra = foreign lands

  • uccha Guru = well-received throughout the international 'temple network'

By the onset of Guru mahadasha, the native had conserved several million dollars in personal capital.

Setbacks, Overconfident speculation

The native is overall a shrewd and successful investor.

Yet several times during his career, this man lost most of his assets in the stock market.

Significant losses occurred in

  • Guru/Budha (losses after 9-11 catastrophe) - L-8 Budha for mysterious forces

L-8 causes catastrophic, sudden, forced changes. The seeds of L-8 changes are secret and hidden. The native may feel like a victim of forces beyond one's control.

Guru-Budha angle is a stable 4-10, but Budha resides in house-6 for servitude and poverty. The native experienced some "servitude" in that he continued to serve in an unhappy, conflicted corporate executive position much longer than he wanted to, in order to gain income to rebuild his assets. By delaying retirement & continuing to work in a demanding and hostile environment (although very well paid for it) this loss was recovered within the bhukti.

  • Guru/Ketu (estate divided in divorce) - Ketu for Surrender

Guru-Ketu angle is a profitable 3/11 and Ketu gives the Laxmi Yoga results of Shukra-Guru, so this loss was partially recovered within the bhukti.

  • Guru/Surya (losses following overly optimistic speculation) - Surya = L-10, loss of gains, loss of income

Atmakaraka Vargottama Surya in domain-5 is socially identified as a speculator. Inflated by Guru's drishti and occupying Jupiter's rashi in privileged bhagya domain-5, Surya is an excellent graha which is nonetheless prone to overconfidence and extraordinary optimism.

Surya is particularly troublesome financially as Ravi' = L-10 for loss of income. (The native also suffers from psychological narcissism, due to the ego-inflated Sun.)

The losses have so far been recouped (eventually) by alternative investments.

Permutations and combinations of these lords give rise to a stupendous number of Dhana Yogas"

~~300 Important Combinations

Dhanayoga - Wealth Yogas:

-- BPHS Ch. 15

Other supporting yogas

Dhurdhura yoga

Definition. If there are planets on either side of the Moon, the combination goes under the name of Dhurdhura.

Results.—The native is bountiful. He will be blessed with much wealth and conveyances.

-- 300 Important Combinations

Uccha Kuja

Fame, wealth, abundant pleasures, and comforts of the body will be acquired if Lagna lord is in a movable rashi and be drishtied by a benefic graha.

- BPHS Ch. 12, (Effects of Tanu bhava)

  • Uccha Kuja in domain-3 = competitiveness & administrative acumen in business.

  • Uccha Kuja sends drishti to swakshetra house-6 = competition for scarce resources.

  • As lord of rising Chitra nakshatra in the Kanya lagna navamsha, Kuja gains an intuitive, spiritually directing role

Ari Bhava

  • Ari bhava contains the L-9+L-11 dhana-yoga yoga

  • Ari bhava is a dusthana for personal matters

  • Kuja's drishti to swakshetra domain-6 = emotionally charged, vigorous, sibling-inspired Competition

  • activating the wealth-producing L-9+L-11 yoga = Chandra yuti Budha

  • 9th-from-10th = domain-6 = good fortune from executive roles, when other factors are supportive

    • the native has fortune from the (financial) imbalance of others,  e.g. giving loans.

    • fortune from  competitive loans (6) to national governments (Makara) to develop industrialization (Mesha)

Uccha Kuja parivartana with Shani

Lagnesha exalted Kuja strong in sahaja bhava receiving strengthening rays from His lord Shani AND from uccha Guru.

Shani strengthens determination; but Shani does not expand the operations of house-3; the native must think hard and work hard.

Lord of Chaturamsha for education = Shani.

When the native generates tremendous mental & physical effort, only then will Sahaja bhava gives self-made wealth.

This wealth is definitely earned. (The native claims three decades of 80-hr weeks were needed to build his current fortune.)

Shani grants the discipline to build wealth over several decades and Guru grants the past-life credit to make it possible.

Shukra and Laxmi Yoga

Strong, angular swakshetra Shukra occupies 11th from-Guru

Uccha Guru occupies all-good house-9

Shukra-Guru both super-strong and in 3/11 angle creates Laxmi Yoga.

Das  says about Lakshmi Yoga:

"This powerful combination blesses your life overall & grants wealth, fortune, reputation, nobility & good looks. You will therefore be a person of high integrity & reputation, handsome appearance, a good ruler, and enjoying all the pleasures and comforts of life. This type of Lakshmi Yoga is very rare & almost always produces a person enjoying wealth and a good reputation and appearance.

Downside:

  • Shukra = karako bhavo nashto = a difficult marriage partner.

  • Shukra yuti Ketu = excessive, indulgent sensuality for the native, confusion about boundaries, alcoholism, and sensual addiction.

Budha = Business ability:

  • Kuja drishti to Budha = extraordinary financial acumen supported by a sharp, aggressive mind and a naturally global perspective.

Budha, a karaka for administrative business

"When Budha is in the second from Karakamsha lagna, the native becomes a trader or businessman, ... and well versed in social or legal or other activities."

~~ Jaimini Sutram (Upadesha Sutram) 17

(the Karakamsha is Meena)

L-9 Chandra and the parents

  • Chandra = all-good Lord of dharma bhava & receiver of potent drishti from uccha Kuja, and dispositor of Uccha Guru gives overall good fortune.

  • L-9 is significator of Father, and L-9 is also the Moon, karaka for Mother.

Fortune comes both through the father's bloodline and the mother's bloodline.

    • I.e., this is a case of " good genes", with both Mother and Father represented by Surya-Chandra's association with uccha Guru.

    • The native's childhood occurred during Surya + Chandra mahadasha

    • therefore the parents have been exceptionally helpful in shaping his character.

L-2/L-5 Guru and parents

  • Guru occupying the 9th while Guru's dispositor Chandra is lord of 9th.

  • Both parents were university professors who inculcated excellent reasoning skills in their son.

  • However, the real source of purva punya = 5th-house planets.

    • The career-driving 10th-lord occupying putra bhava in the sign of a great planetary friend (Guru).

    • Surya also receives drishti from that most auspicious friend (Guru again).

    • This yoga is exceptionally beneficial for professional success as a springboard to wealth.  Compare to multi-billionaire Bill Gates

If the lord of Dhana is in Dhana, or is in an angle, or in trine, he will promote one's wealth (or monetary state).

-- BPHS Ch. 13, Shloka 2

Exalted L2-L5 Guru holds auspicious positions:

  • 9th from lagna, 9th-from-L-4 Shani

  • 4th from L-9 Moon

  • 5th from L-10 Sun.

Downside of Guru:

  • Guru in the final 3:20 degrees (final pada) of Ashlesha nakshatra is a gandanta planet who will certainly cause some type of trouble regarding matters of children & money during Guru periods.  The native experienced some significant loss of assets and was involved in a bitter child-custody dispute during Guru mahadasha.

  • Guru casts drishti within one degree on the equally gandanta Surya who occupies putra bhava, the house of children.  In fact the native experienced a bitter and expensive child custody struggle during Guru/Ketu mahadasha.

  • Super-strong Guru in house-9 = trouble from the father due to karako bhavo nashto

    • This native blamed his father for moral shortcoming, & remained alienated without reconciliation until the father died. (Similar to celebrity Angelina Jolie whose karako bhavo nashto & resulting alienation from her father is well known.)

L-9 Chandra and luxurious international travel

  • The international quality of his work is attributable to L-9+L-11 in the 6th house of import-export, finance/debt, and trade with foreign partners.

    • (Yuvati bhava rules trading partners but when those partners are foreign we look first to 12th-from-7th.)

  • Professional specialty and source of good fortune = crafting financing deals -- i.e., creating debt.

  • L-9 Chandra provides copious international travel in luxurious style.  Budha who is lord of labha bhava provides gains from the marketplace.

Radix L-10 Ravi

  •  occupies bhagya house-5:

  • Ravi = uccha in dashamsha where as local L-7 it is a decisive, leadership-enhancing career booster.

  • Ravi  also uccha in navamsha where again as  L7 it boosts "command-decision" function in career. Also auspicious for wife's strategic capability & leadership. In fact his wife has an education equal to his and is a player of similar power in his industry.

D-10 Lagnesha Shani in 8 may involve some hidden transactions, not uncommon in international business :)

Eleventh from Lagna Pada (Arudha Lagna)

Lagna pada (arudha of the lagna) = Meena = 3rd-from-3rd;

11th-from-Meena is Makara, containing the exalted Mangala.

If the 11th from the Lagna Pada is occupied or receives aspect from a planet the native will be happy and rich... if the planet be in exaltation or own rashi, there will be plenty of gains and plenty of happiness.

-- Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra Ch. 29, Shloka 8-11

When the 11th from arudha lagna has a planet or is aspected by a planet, the native becomes prosperous & wealthy.

-- Jaimini Sutram (Upadesha Sutram) 3rd pada/2

If the eleventh from arudha Lagna is well associated and aspected by benefics or those in exaltation, in Moola-Trikona and the like, the person has wealth through justifiable means."

-- Jaimini Sutram (Upadesha Sutram) Ch 1/Shloka 5

When the Moon, Jupiter, or Venus are in the second from arudha lagna, the native becomes prosperous and wealthy."

-- Jaimini Sutram (Upadesha Sutram)  Ch 1/Shloka 15

Not only is the exalted Mangala exceptionally auspicious for business activities of all kinds, but additional good fortune is known because sahaja bhava represents self-made wealth.

This native regularly received high salaries and fine bonuses for his successful efforts as an employee, but the central source of his wealth is the result of skillfully investing his business salary into capital ventures.

L-1/L-6 Mars Mahadasha

  • age 16-23

Kuja does not mature as a graha until age 28. The Kuja mahadasha did not give full results due to native's immaturity.

Good college education received, due to parivartan with L-4 Shanaicharya

Some intoxication, financial errors, and mistreatment of women due to conditions in domain-6.

Rahu Mahadasha

  • age 24-42

Rahu gives results of Shani+Mangala

Rahu = karaka for foreigners, extreme desire, cultural-boundary challenges.

At age 24 the native started working in banking. Giving the results of his dispositor uccha Kuja, Rahu created a strong & passionate head start into the world of international business finance.

The native enjoyed a comfortable expatriate lifestyle in world financial capital cities during Rahu mahadasha.

Mars receiving drishti from L-2 uccha Guru = expertise in values (domain-2), including "financial instruments" such as money.

L-6 Mangala = expert in loans & debt management including the intricacies of bankruptcy & international credit.

However, drishti from Shani, who is yuti with Rahu and dispositor of Mars, along with the Ari Bhava cluster, ensures that he was giving good value of work for his pleasures.

Rahu mahadasha was also a period of significant mental challenge, long hours, and the occasional catastrophic upheaval in global commerce.

L-2/L-5 Jupiter Mahadasha - Wealth building with slippage

Guru mahadasha continued & expanded his international scope, bringing the wisdom of seniority & experience in his professional field into play.

  • In Guru-Shani period, despite difficult working conditions, salary and bonuses in excess of one million USD per year. (5-9 angle; Shani = L-3 self-made-wealth)

  • In Guru-Budha period, simultaneous with the highly favorable fourth Guru return to Karka and Ketu-Rahu transit to lagna, world market conditions created a high level of gainfulness and he retired with lifetime wealth

  • Guru-Shukra period evoked the Laxmi Yoga inherent in swakshetra Shukra occupying 11th-from-uccha Guru. The native's wealth increased consistently and he enjoyed a lavish, pleasure-driven lifestyle full of fine wines and beautiful women.

  • Market turndown in Guru/Surya period - where Surya = L-10 for "losses in marketplace" saw the loss of nearly one third of his net wealth. Overconfident speculation.

  • Predicted for Guru/Chandra period: great good fortune in the period of L-9 Chandra dispositor of mahadasha pati Guru. Increased social conflict including divorce-related aggression due to Kuja drishti upon Chandra in domain-6. Some health problems, same: domain-6. Advocacy and work with children, although no children predicted due to Guru/9 and Surya/5.
