The type of Body that we humans have
from
Becoming Enlightened
H.H.
Dalai Lama, trans. ed. by Jeffrey Hopkins, p.151
|
"On top of the sufferings of birth, aging,
sickness, and death, we encounter the pains of facing the unpleasant,
separating from the pleasant, and not finding what we want.
Our mind-body complex serves as a basis for
present sufferings in the form of aging, sickness, and death, and promotes
future suffering through our usual responses to painful situations.
-
By reflecting on birth and on the
nature of mind and body, you will be moved from the
depths of your heart to seek relief, thinking, "If I
could only be free from a life driven by afflictive emotions and karma!"
Without such reflection on pain,
your knowledge of your own condition will be limited, which itself will
put a limit on your compassion.
As Tsonghkapa says:
"If you do not cultivate a genuine sense of
disenchantment with cyclic existence -- whose nature is a mind-body complex
under the sway of afflictive emotions and karma
you will have no chance
to develop a genuine attitude intent on liberation, and there will be no
way to develop great compassion for beings wandering in cyclic existence.
Therefore, it is crucial to reflect on your situation."

not rules any other house
-
Mangala ratna

Shani mahadasha
only -- and even then, with caution. Shani =

recognition and material attainments; however due to Shani's lawful
and hard-working nature, Seva is usually a more effective remedy
than a gemstone.

Power
of
Parivartamsha Yoga for Mesha lagna:
|
There are four possible pari-vart-amsha yogas for Kuja lagnesha:
Mangala in Makara + Shani
in Vrischikha-
Mangala in Kumbha + Shani
in Vrischikha-
Mangala in Makara + Shani
in Mesha-
-
good for public status and professional
recognition because the same 4/10 yoga obtains. Fallen Shani will occupy
the dushthamsha 6th house, karmically obliging the person to handle the suffering
of the masses - poverty, disease, hatred
-
Yet Shani emerges through the parivartamsha
into the very powerful neechcha
bhanga condition, causing the person to rise very high in organizations
which serve the suffering.
-
There may be much combat in the life,
yet the
person has undeniable business skills from the exalted Mars which will give
increasingly obvious results after age 28.
-
Superior performance in
military and paramilitary settings.
Mangala in Kumbha + Shani
in Mesha --
-
favorable for material gain because lord
Shani is self-made-wealth 3rd from his tenant Kuja, while Lord Kuja occupies
the gainful 11th from his tenant Shani.
-
Wealth may be gained via
unscrupulous or selfish means, and there may be profound emotional
turmoil (with an abstract, philosophical calm in the eye of the hurricane).
-
An exceptionally competitive
and hard-working personality whose loner male
(Mangala-Messha) exploration of new styles of connectedness
(Mangala-Kumbha) mixes successfully (parivartamsha) with a
message of social discontent (Shani-Mesha) and broad appeal
to the masses (Shani-Kumbha).
-
Example: poet, songwriter,
performer and generational icon: Bob Dylan (Robert Zimmerman)

Yogakaraka graha
for Mesha
Lagna
|
A yoga-karaka graha rules both a kona
(triangle houses 1, 5, 9 = cone)
and a kendra (quadrangle houses 1, 4,7,10).
-
Sun/Moon, when interpreted as a single planet, rule
houses 4 and 5
-
(compare to the other Mars-ruled lagna
Vrischika, where
Sun/Moon are Yogakarakalords of houses 9/10)
-
Mars-ruled natives benefit from exceptionally strong and
emotionally-coordinated willpower, presuming that Sun/Moon occupy good
houses.
-
The self-concept is one of inherent
capability. Aries rising are strong parents, born believing they should rule
benevolently over home and children.
-
predisposed to assume parenting, teaching, and coaching
authority
-
The details of how they parent and teach, depend largely on the house and sign position of Surya and Chandra,
drishti to the luminaries, and other adjustments to the general truth that
when Ravi is 5th lord the person is born to create (and procreate), and when Chandra is
4th
lord the emotional, nurturing intuition is highly developed.
will
develop his home and children
through trade and financial services, probably in the medical field. This combination gives the Black
Moon of course, so often the money rules him rather than him ruling the
money!
is much more likely to express her
parenting, caretaking destiny
in the business, educational and entertainment fields. The yoga provides a
6/8 Sun-Moon angle, which is less favorable for smooth expression of
leadership intelligence. Although she will be respected for her
competence due to the powerful position of Surya, she may contradict herself
due to the 6/8 and thus lose the people's trust. Inner and outer self
are not fully coordinated/are imbalanced in the 6/8 Sun-Moon yoga.
Chandra as dharma lord brings many blessings to putra bhava and when Ravi
occupies the 7th from Chandra, the White Moon (full moon) obtains, giving
smooth coordination of inner and outer self-concepts in the world.
Professional expression is sensible to the public. Material gains
[Surya/11] and honor are granted for work of creativity [Soma/5] and
romance [7/7 yoga Sun-Moon]. |
