BPL COMMENTARY

For Mula births of a masculine valence, the condition of limitless, observing, uncoupling, surrendering, abandoning, disinterested, ethereal, wandering, spacious, dispersing Ketu may considerably affect the outcome.

For those born into the Ketu-ruled paradigm of Alaxmi, spirit guides, astral beings, ghosts, pilgrims, wanderers, cutters, dispersers, splitters, de-couplers, winds, flags, tails, cloudy figures, agents of impermanence and release, events of forgiveness and surrender, freedom from conventions, disregard of consequences, and inner listening may be especially influential.

Instructional guidance is provided by emissaries from the civilizations of Al-Shaula.

Their purpose is to disintegrate, disconnect, disperse, and deconstruct those phenomena which have become obstacles to greater understanding.

Fearless Deconstructivism

Mula gentlemen are inspiring in their fearlessness . Alaxmi are concerned with absolute principles of conviction, not with material outcomes.

Although apparently optimistic and genial Guru-ruled personalities, Nirriti are constitutionally aligned with destabilizing power vacuums, disintegration of outdated structures, and large-scale disorientation. Pilgrims of wandering spirit, Mula have little regard for boundaries, customs, or consequences. They go easily where angels fear to tread.

Mula has a natural veneer of faith and generosity due to Brihaspati's Benevolence. Often appearing as father-figures, patriarchs, patrons, preachers, and philosophers, Masculine Mula may present as pastoral shepherds who are paternally guiding their lost sheep.

In times of inattentive negligence or mass psychic distress, Shri Ketu's polarity vacuum may suck an enormous degree of power - sometimes, absolute power.

Mūla's outlook often features a liberating mix of ambivalence and apathy. Free from self-doubt, and disinterested in moral conventions, those born in Alaxmi may consciously or unconsciously guide their flocks into states of higher wisdom. Yet, the sacred must be sacrificed. In a world with few meaningful limits, depravity, destruction, cruelty, and chaos have equal utility to compassion and love.

Because Alakshmi-born preach their principles while dismissing [Ketu] the material consequences of applying those beliefs, they are generally freed from worry. They are cheerful folk, even in the most dire circumstances. They do not fear death.

When involved in religious or political indoctrination, [Mūla] born may expound an eschatology of annihilation. , Unlimited destruction may be the preferred path toward full purgative cycle of regeneration. Niritti (no-rhythm) may be associated with heart-stopping shock and awe or scorched earth or eradication campaigns that are aimed to destroy the root.

Having usually no fear of death, Mula may nonchalantly engage in self-destructive behavior as well as in evacuation, elimination, or eradication of others. Religious or ideological patronage may be essential to their mission. Mula gentlemen are found in the worlds of sacred wisdom, inspirational guidance, cults of belief, and radical indoctrination. They may conduct zero-sum operations within military, priesthood, politics, and organized crime.

mūla] born may suffer from restless windiness (vata dosha).

Themes of annihilation, apocalypse, extreme chaos followed by absolute peace, and fearless disregard of consequences may contextualize Mūla's terrestrial experience. Applies also to Chandra in Mūla

QUOTATION from Shil-Ponde.(1939). Hindu Astrology Joytisha-Shastra . p 86r.

" ... a shrewd and capable character - an organizer,

  • who is able to handle people

  • and make them serve his needs through tact and diplomacy.

A politician.

An orator who is capable of swaying his audiences

  • yet who is not sincere

  • but may even be unfaithful to his constituents

  • and ungrateful and unappreciative of favors received if the occasion arises.

The type of person who, while one is still in his presence, holds one spellbound;

  • but who when he leaves, also leaves a lurking distrust behind him.

Extremely clever and capable ." [end quote]

Astrodatabank.com states

BPL COMMENTARY

The oft-cited birth time of 1100 or 1130 = not from "memory" of an observer of the birth but rather derives from the anecdote that Napoleon's mother went into labor in Corsica when she was sitting in church for the purpose of hearing Holy Mass, which service was presumably being offered at the hour approaching the Angelus [noon] .

Indeed, the time and even the date of Napoleon's birth are questioned. One scholar has asserted that 15-Aug-1769 is actually the birth date of Napoleon's younger brother and that the France-Emperor [reign 1804-1815] was actually born on 07-Jan-1768 at an unknown time. Napoleon's parentage is also questioned.

MOTHER

Mom = Letizia Ramolino of Corsica

[Chandra in classroom-2] usually means that the mother anchors the center of the family. Historians consider mom Letizia to have been a primary shaping influence upon NB's character

[Chandra in classroom-2] receives mutual drishti with [Shani-yuti-Budha] [8]

  • Chandra rules NB Karkata svamsha
  • Combined interacting rulers of 2 + 3 + 7 + 8 + 10
  • mom was a powerhouse influence upon Napoleon.
  • She outlived him.

[Shani-yuti-Budha] drishti into Chandra

Mom she was married at age thirteen, and gave birth to thirteen babies, of which eight survived. NB was the fourth of thirteen children born to his Letizia Ramolino.

Mother was uneducated. Still, she possessed of some funds via her husband's salary for managing a military-garrison and a prison.

Shani

Harsh, order-imposing mother forms NB's emotional expectations of life

Known as a tough disciplinarian [Shani], Letizia was reputed to be a strict household manager with an earthy style [Shani] .

By all accounts, she was a stern mother who was willing to whip her children for purpose of maintaining order in the household [or have them punished by servants] . Despite her cruelty, she was not murdered. The household ran smoothly.

Shani-Mom

Her strictness included the requirement that her children should be bathed every other day. This conflicted with the centuries-old European fear of bathing as the guaranteed way to die of cold-fever. European mothers rarely bathed their children. In those days, most adultsalso resisted the water-bath. The local folk [Chandra] balked at her habit but she persisted. [Shani persistence.]

Big spirit finally squeezes into compressed human body

Napoleon was his mother's fourth child. Her first child, a son Napo-leone [new lion] was born and died in 1865. The famous empire-builder Napoleon born in 1869 was named after his deceased brother.

Psychically, this is probably a case of the same spirit dying, reorganizing, and returning to School-of-Earth for a second, more successful materialization.

MARRIAGE partnership emotional equity support expectations

Mithunaya Shukra-yuti-Ketu occupies the emotionally conflicted [6th-from-Chandra] suggesting dissolution and dissatisfaction within relationships with women, along with the breakdown of most varieties of contractual alliance.

[Guru Mahadasha] [age 34.5 until age 50.5]

NB was said to have gained considerable bodyweight -Guru] during his 40's, and was characterized by some observers as looking bloated or obese with a yellowish [Guru] complexion. OUTCOMES - SHUKRA

[Shukra-7] Josephine was a broker, arranger, facilitator, and feather-smoother

Nonchalance, separations, animosity, gainfulness

Napoleon was frequently separated [Ketu] from his wives during his extended military campaigns.

  • long separations from nurturing feminine-figures
  • emotional disengagement from marriage vow [Shukra vow]

Shukra rules 6 + 11-fruitfulness, gains, profits, connections, systematic approach.

  • The child of slave-plantation growers from the Caribbean Islands of St. Lucia and Martinique, Josephine was a busy social networker. She knew everyone worth knowing in the Paris of 1795. Naturally, NB valued her exceptional socializing abilities.
  • Josephine was also an extravagant over-spender [6, debt] who used her lovers to pay her bills.

Rogesha [Shukra-yuti-Ketu] occupies the emotionally conflicted [6th-from-Chandra]

It such a challenging yoga that a loyal, sexually exclusive union might be adjudged impossible not only for NB but for his many intimate-partners as well.

Shukra holds a lower degree of 16 while Collapsing Ketu skirts the rashi boundary at zero degrees, suggesting that

  • Josephine had a strong Shukra nature [and her Mūla-Chandra contacts NB's Mula lagna]
  • while the second wife Maria-Louisa was " barely there" [Ketu]. [Yet her Arudra-Chandra occupies NB's bhava-7, signaling an authentic marriage.]

Shukra lifepartner-1

Josephine was the mistress nonchalant of numerous aristocratic and commercially successful Parisian gentlemen.

  • Josephine had been the previous mistress of the top man in France.
  • At the time of her attraction to Napoleon, the previous lover had wished her to be re-purposed ... and to pay her her notorious over-spending [Ketu no boundaries] from another purse [Shukra expense] .

Josephine's first husband, by whom she had two lovely children, had been guillotined [Ketu].

  • She became a courtier in order to support her children and sustain her luxurious tastes.
  • Josephine was introduced to Napoleon by mutual friends and their immediate attraction was said to have been definitive [his Shukra-7 attraction - plus her Mūla-Chandra].

Depending on whether Shukra or Ketu has the higher degree, the second wife may be more distinctively Ketu or more Shukra in their presenting symptoms.

Ketu lifepartner-2

Collapsing Ketu holds the higher degree because Ketu moves // backwards // .

  • Maria-Louisa would be expected to display more pronounced Ketu-characteristics such as misty boundaries, apathy toward the contractual union, and more absence than presence.

The empire-builder was considered a predatory threat to the governments of his enemies, especially Britain .

NB was captured legally and exiled to a remote island. At age 51, at the onset of Shani-Shani svabhukti, NB died of stomach cancer like his father before him.

Shani rules 3-siblings

When NB gained political power, he bestowed royal titles upon all of his surviving siblings. Brilliant, forward-pushing Surya-yuti-Mangala casts a flamboyant entitled drishti into bhava-3 siblings. However, their titles were working portfolios. They earned their fancy clothes.

OUTCOMES - KETU

Ketu = Second wifely-companion

Maria-Louisa [Ketu-yuti-Shukra]

In a husbandly nativity, the second wife [if any] may be indicated by graha yuti Shukra. Typically, kalatra-karaka Shukra represents lifepartner-1. Therefore, the 2nd-wife karaka = Ketu.

Napoleon and Maria Ludovica Leopoldina Franziska Therese Josepha Lucia von Habsburg-Lothringen were married by proxy [shadowy Ketu].

M-L was 15 years old. NB was 41.

Absence patterns

Although there was a large, expensive gala celebration at the Viennese court to celebrate Maria-Louisa's nuptials, Napoleon was not physically present for the wedding. The physical meeting and another grander ceremony occurred about a month later.

Historically, there is extensive documentation indicating that Marie-Louisa of Austria was chosen solely for her strategic utility in Napoleon's attempt to fabricate an Empire from treaty relationships with other heads of state. Likely she was aware of being the pawn of an aging narcissist, 24 years her senior.

French Society apprehended Maria-Louisa Hapsburg initially as a gently demure and polite teenage girl, entirely disengaged [Ketu] from the drama and politics of the Royal court.

Absence patterns

In calendar time, the couple were unable to spend even one full year together. Napoleon is quoted as calling Maria-Louisa a disappointment [Ketu]. It is not clear who abandoned whom, but after Napoleon was forced to abdicate his throne [Ketu], Maria-Louisa Hapsburg took their son permanently back to Austria. Former Emperor Napoleon never saw either of them again [Ketu].

Unsustainable

From Napoleon's perspective, Maria-Louisa Hapsburg was a pleasant but unsustainable companion Ketu-yuti-Shukra

As if it never happened

Having completed the Ketu role in NB's narrative, Maria-Louisa Hapsburg went along to enjoy the rest of her life, including two additional marriages and more children.

Marie-Louise left Napoleon when she was 24 years old. She lived until age 56, married a total of three times [twice more after Napoleon] and bore a total of four live children. Son Napoleon-2 predeceased her.
